Family isn’t only about being related.
It’s about making sure the people you love feel loved.
Life happens and I don’t get to be there for all the little moments, the ordinary days, the growing pains for all of my family members, no matter how much I wish I could.
So when we do have time together, I want to make it count.
Growing up means figuring out who you are while the world is constantly telling you who you should be.
And sometimes, what a girl needs most is another girl reminding her:
You are loved.
You are enough.
You are never alone.
And you always have someone in your corner.
I believe in making the time.
Making the calls.
Making the trips.
Making the memories.
Because family doesn’t stay united by accident.
It takes intention.
We have to choose each other.
Again and again.
And as women, we have to stick together. 🤍
For the little girls becoming women.
For the women who are still becoming, too.
Love them loudly.
Show up.
Make it real.
That’s how we keep each other close, no matter how many miles are between us. ✨
